The Lucky U effort was used to help to generate funds which enabled this memorial to become a reality. In fact, the time capsule at the site, contains the names of individuals who contributed and became Lucky U members to help with this project.

This is a prime example of how we envision the total community coming together for worth while projects. There are: youngsters, pre-teens, teens and adults who can look with pride in knowing that they played a part in making this memorial possible. In addition, many of them have adopted the key principles of the Lucky U effort along the way.
